About Me
Hi, I’m Matthew Godshall, a life coach based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I’m a practicing Christian, and I believe that personal, professional, and spiritual growth go hand in hand. My goal is to create a safe, reflective space where you can explore what matters most in your life — inviting the Holy Spirit to sit with us as the “third chair” in our conversations together.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wesleyan University, and I’ve completed coach training with Creative Results Management. I am currently finishing my International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification. Before focusing on life coaching, I spent five years in the professional world, including serving as a coach for a team of 15 people, which helped me develop skills in listening, mentoring, and guiding others toward meaningful growth.
I see life coaching not as a place where I provide answers, but where you are empowered to uncover answers for yourself. I listen deeply, ask reflective questions, and prompt you to explore insights and possibilities. Every session ends with you deciding on practical steps to move forward in alignment with God’s calling for your life.
Outside of coaching, I’m active in my church community — co-leading a young adult men’s group, serving in English as a Second Language classes — and am an avid reader/writer/thinker. These experiences enrich my perspective and keep me grounded in the faith that shapes how I coach.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, faith-centered approach to personal growth, I’d love to walk alongside you as you take meaningful steps toward the life God has called you to.
